An important step in the process is applying for the course that you would like to do at the university that you want to attend, and receiving your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) certificate from the university. This can be a difficult process as each university does things a bit differently.

To be eligible to study in Australia as an international student, the student is required to apply for and be successful in obtaining a Subclass 500 Student visa. The type of visa you will need will depend on your course of study, however there are a general list of requirements that will apply to all visa applicants:
Must be issued with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) certificate from your university
Must meet the Genuine Temporary Entrant requirements
Obtain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
Have acceptable English language proficiency
Ensure that you can support yourself financially while in Australia
